Egyptian Solo Darbuka DED-322E

The Dest Percussion DED-322E is an Egyptian-style solo darbuka with a hand-engraved cast aluminium shell and a tunable synthetic head. It has a 22 cm playing surface, stands 44 cm tall and weighs 2.4 kg.

The drum produces deep bass notes and clear, ringing high tones. A carrying bag and tuning key are included, so you have what you need to transport the instrument and adjust the head tension.

The engraved pattern is worked into the aluminium shell. Alongside its decorative finish, the DED-322E has the goblet-shaped body associated with Egyptian-style darbukas, also commonly called doumbeks.
